SPEEDWAY: King’s Lynn put Swindon Robins to the sword at The Adrian Flux Arena on Wednesday night with a solid 53-40 success.

Yet another strong team performance saw the home side pick up maximum points.

With the Robins in town, that meant a return to familiar surroundings for Lewis Rose, who was greeted with a warm welcome by the Stars faithful after his displays for Lynn last season.

But it was the other member of the 2014 Team Lewis who took the honours.

Lewis Kerr was dominant from the gate and his paid-15 score justified his performance.

He was quick from the traps and put in some brilliant overtaking moves from reserve.

Nick Morris was the notable away performer, scoring 11 points.

λ Niels-Kristian Iversen opened his Grand Prix account with seven points in a farcical event in Warsaw on Saturday.

The meeting had to be abandoned after safety issues had been made about the track.

That followed several issues with the start tapes and for the first time in GP history, heats had to be started under a green light.
