Snow White meets Snow White. Picture: Tony Jones

Her name is Snow White – oh yes it is – and the King’s Lynn schoolgirl met the star of the panto stage for tea this week.

The eight-year-old, real, Snow White is a pupil at Reffley Community School and lives in South Wootton.

She was invited to share a special tea with the stage version of Snow White who is appearing in the current King’s Lynn run of the pantomime.

Played by Hannah Boyce, the famous character was joined on stage by the real thing when Snow was also invited onto the boards at the Corn Exchange during a performance of the show earlier this week.

“She had a lovely tea at the Duke’s Head with Snow White and really enjoyed the pantomime and going on the stage,” said her mum Jade Sarsfield.

“We have never met another girl called Snow White and it’s certainly prompted a few comments. It is unusual, but we don’t really think about it any more as she has always just been Snow to us.”

The invitation came from the King’s Lynn Corn Exchange and both Snows were treated by the town’s Duke’s Head.

The show features ‘Marlene’ from TV’s Only Fools and Horses, actress Sue Holderness.
