The road around King’s Lynn’s Saturday Market Place is open to traffic again.
Resurfacing is complete and a short section of pavement close to St James Street should be finished by the end of the day.
The car park should be opened again today but paving around St Margaret’s Place will continue until after Christmas.
Completing the project was delayed by the weather, mechanical breakdown and a hold-up in the delivery of special stone.
The area had been closed to traffic since August when work started on the £650,000 project to enhance it with new paving, improved parking, new lighting and seating.
A new crossing point has been put in near the High Street and special paving will mark the area of the old charnel chapel.
