Dorothy Hosein has been appointed as the new chief executive for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn NHS Foundation Trust.
Mrs Hosein has spent several months at the trust as interim chief operating officer. She has held a number of senior operational positions in NHS trusts and most recently, she was chief operating officer at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospital NHS Trust.
The Gayton Road hospital is still in special measures and Edward Libbey, chair of the QEH trust, said Mrs Hosein had a strong background in transforming services for the benefit of patients. She has replaced interim chief executive officer, Manjit Obhrai.
