FOOTBALL: England’s Hope made it five wins from five in the West Norfolk Scaffolding Sunday League.

Long Sutton succumbed to a 6-2 defeat at Marshland Smeeth with Sam Whyborn 2, Joe Whyborn, Damon Gunns, Justin Uddin and Michael Chow scoring for the leaders.

FANG are three points behind, after a 1-0 win over Burt thanks to Lewis Osborne’s goal.

Chilvers are still in the title hunt, thanks to a 7-4 win at Clenchwarton Victory. Alan Cook led the way with a hat trick and Aaron Proctor bagged twice. Kris Smith and Jack Johnson also scored. Clenchwarton scored four times against the defending champions with a hat-trick for Adam Mason and a goal from Shaun Copeland.

CSKA Emneth came out on top 4-2 in the third clash with Horsepigs in as many weeks.

Jon Sykes and Aaron Hodson notched for the Pigs but Kai Ruff, Scott Wylie, Joe Gallagher and an opponent scored for CSKA to put them 2-1 up on aggregate.

Farmers Arms won their first league game of the season in Division Two, beating Tydd St Mary 2-1. Jake Seekings and Ryan Horton won the game.

Tilney Green Lions and Wisbech Social drew 3-3. Jason Chilton 2 and Jordi Scott-Henson scored for the Lions.

Dersingham Social Club continue their seemingly relentless march towards the Division Three title with a 6-2 destruction of Horsepigs Reserves. Matt Willis bagged twice for the Pigs but Anton Ely 3, Luke Biles 2 and Harry Nash maintained Dersingham’s 100 per cent record.

Max Gilly scored for Watlington in a 2-1 defeat against Elm, while Heacham Reserves bagged a morale boosting 2-0 win over River Lane with goals from Josh Everett and Timmy Pepper.

West Lynn won 5-1 at Fleet with Josh Smith, Lawrence Thetford, Nathan Young, Jonathon Smith and James Van Der Velde securing the points.
