FOOTBALL: King’s Lynn Town have been handed a grandstand boost ahead of their FA Cup tie at The Walks tomorrow, 3pm.

The Linnets and opponents Lancaster City will run out from beneath the renamed Adrian Flux Grandstand after insurance broker Adrian Flux agreed a three-year sponsorship deal.

Chairman Keith Chapman hailed it as a massive boost for the club. The financial input is very important to us and it will help keep the club buoyant. The travelling costs alone are frightening and this will make a massive difference,” said Chapman, who is in his fifth season at the helm of the Evo-Stik Premier Division club.

Adrian Flux general manager Gerry Bucke was delighted to have secured the first naming rights deal of its kind at The Walks.

“We were impressed with how the club is moving forward and we’re excited about helping the football club fulfil its potential.”
