GOLF: The Seniors Open at Middleton Hall Golf Club on Friday attracted a field of 96 players from near and far.
The course was in pristine condition and the golf was of a very high standard.
There were several prizes for nearest the pin, but the main competition was a pairs better ball Stableford.
The prizes were presented by Mike Johnson, proprietor, and John Burdett, seniors captain.
First prize for members went to Roger Smith and his partner Jerry Gill from Kirton Holme GC, who scored 43 points.
The overall winners and highest scoring visitors were Graham Gerrish and David Baird from Heacham Manor with an outstanding score of 48 points
