Hunstanton was invaded at the weekend when a band military vehicles rolled into town.

But it was all friendly and in aid of a good cause.

Vintage car and military vehicle owners were invited to support the event organised by Harold Payne, of the Anglia Motel, Fleet – near Holbeach.

All proceeds from the two-day spectacular will go to the Royal Anglian Benevolent Fund.

Around 5,000 people visited the show over the weekend, which included a flypast by a Spitfire and Hurricane aircraft from the Second World War.

Wreaths were also laid in memory of service personnel killed in recent conflicts.

The Norwich branch of the Military Vehicle Association took part on Sunday and there were also a number of American vehicles.

The Anglia Motel will be hosting a charity weekend for veterans of the Korean war from Friday, September 26.
