GOLF: Middleton Hall Golf Club members have donated a defibrillator to the club so that everyone on the premises has access to life-saving equipment in the event of cardiac arrest.

It is part of a campaign led by Bernard Gallacher to support placement of public-access defibrillators at golf clubs across the UK and is supported by the English Golf Union and the Norfolk County Golf Union.

The funds have come from the club’s members committee, which was set up to organise golf-related and social events.

Over the years the members have donated a bench seat and a gazebo.
