FOOTBALL: The old season is barely over but King’s Lynn Town manager gary Setchell has made his first signings for the 2014/15 EvoStik League campaign.

Setchell has brought in attacking full-back Jackson Ramm from Cambridge City and midfielder David Bridges, who ended last season at Conference North Brackley Town.

Ramm, 20, who had also been at Blackburn and Norwich, said: “This club is going places and I think it’s got the drive and the professionalism and there’s players here that in three or four years time could play in the professional game.”

Bridges, 31, has bundles of experience and a superb football CV, which includes Cambridge United and Stevenage.

He said “I had no previous knowledge of Setch but we got on great and talked for a long time about what he wanted to do and we hit off straight away.”

Ewan Clarke, Jake Jones, Jason Lee, Alex Street and Jordan Yong have all re-signed for the club.
