RUGBY LEAGUE: A hat-trick of tries from Mosese Dunn helped a scratch King’s Lynn Black Knights team rattle up their first win of the East League season.

They won 38-16 at Bedford and face the same opponents at home tomorrow in the Challenge Cup at Gatehouse Lane, North Wootton.

Mosese and Reg Dunn both played with injuries while veteran Peter Brown took on the subbing role.

Dad Reg Dunn set up his son for the opening try, converted by man of the match Daniel Spencer, and the youngsters added a second before Mitchell Anderson put the Knights further ahead with a great solo effort.

Bedford hit back but Neil Langley laid of an inside pass for Harry Mahoney to reopen the gap.

Reg Dunn used his bulk to bulldoze over the line for another and Barry Scott added another before half-time.

Bedford closed the gap in the second half before the Knights upped a gear and took control with Paul Allen scoring before Dunn completed his treble.
