An exhibition of paintings, prints and photographs from the world of birds will be coming to Westacre Theatre.

Artist Su’en Miller has produced a series of studies of familiar birds and her husband, author David Miller, has added an absurd poetic twist to many of them.

There is the robin that missed Christmas dinner, a cuckoo who couldn’t care less and a goldfinch who whistles because he sits on thistles!

A trained biologist, Mrs Miller, of Great Massingham paints mainly in oils and acrylics and takes photographs on walks during the countryside and coast.

The Basically Birds exhibition opens on May 30. It can be viewed by special arrangement and runs until Saturday, July 12.
