An improved property market has given a Norfolk-based developer the confidence to forge ahead with future plans for homes on a South Lynn regeneration site.

Morston Assets is in the process of building new homes on the Yours South Lynn site, which is part of the Nar Ouse Regeneration area.

The current stage of 18 two and three-bedroom homes is due for completion shortly and 15 have already been sold or reserved.

Luke Brafield, senior development surveyor with Morston, said the much-improved property market nationally had been reflected locally.

“We are pleased with the response and interest in the site,” said Mr Brafield.

The company is now looking to build a further 12 three-bedded homes this summer ready for an autumn completion.

Future plans include submitting an application to West Norfolk Council for 126  units.

These would be a mix of apartments along with two, three and four bedroomed properties.

Mr Brafield said it would be a rolling programme of development in “small chunks” which would start next year, provided planning permission was agreed.
