King’s Lynn is gearing up for the 29th annual Festival Too next month.

The line-up is due to be announced when the event is officially launched on Thursday.

Committee members are keeping the acts quiet, but several big-names are set to entertain the crowds.

The free festival – one of the largest in Europe – will open with music and a fireworks display at King Staithe Square, on Lynn’s South Quay, on Saturday, June 28.

Weekend gigs will then be held in the Tuesday Market Place until Saturday, July 12.

The event is all organised by volunteers and tens of thousands of people attended last year, with acts including Blue, Stooshe, The Christians and Diana Vickers taking to the stage.
