It’s another Bank Holiday and this weekend we have the Grand East Anglia Run to look forward to.
Good luck to all who are taking part on Sunday, including the Lynnsport team of gymnasts and parents, who will be running the Mini GEAR to raise funds for King’s Lynn Gymnastics Club, and also to Team Bodyworks, made up of our staff and customers.
Please make sure you give them extra support as they go past. They will all be wearing branded T-shirts and vests, so please do look out for them.
I will again be marshalling at the event, which I do every year.
Being part of this fantastic event is something I really enjoy and I look forward to seeing you all there.
Let’s hope for a nice day.
We are open as normal on Bank Holiday Monday but group fitness and gymnastics classes, including Gym Pit Fun Time will not be running.
Ladies are of course welcome to come along to the ladies badminton session as normal on Monday morning but Janis will not be there to organise.
On Tuesday, our holiday programme for the half-term holiday will be out.
As usual there are lots of activities to do and try, with exciting taster sessions in numerous sports, including gymnastics. All sporting sessions are organised by qualified and checked coaches and are suitable for children aged 18 months to 16 years of any ability level. Activities run from Tuesday, May 27, to Friday, May 30.
Sunday is the next available date for inductions for The Hangar Climbing Centre. These cover all the skills and techniques you need to get started and become a registered member.
To book any activities, contact reception on 01553 818001.
