An inter-faith service to mark Holocaust Memorial Day saw around 200 people gather in King’s Lynn Town Hall.
Borough Mayor Elizabeth Watson and council leader Nick Daubney were among those who gave readings on Sunday.
Representatives of the Muslim, Christian and Jewish communities also took part and the choir from St Martha’s RC School provided music.
A commemorative wreath was presented to the Jewish community by Mrs Watson and it was laid at the tree planted in Tower Gardens for the first memorial day is 2001.
Holocaust Memorial Day was marked in the UK on Monday, as January 27 and is the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz concentration camp.
