A new music project will give young people in West Norfolk the chance to spend their half-term break participating in workshops run by professional musicians.

The Phonic music project, which is being funded by Youth Music in Norwich in association with the King’s Lynn Arts Centre, plans to provide new musical opportunities to those living in rural areas in the west of the county.

The workshops will be offered between 11am and 3pm at the Ripper Hall in Docking and the village hall in Great Massingham from Monday, October 28, until Friday, November 1.

They are open to teenagers aged between 13 and 18 and costs £2 per day.
