Demand for rental properties in West Norfolk has seen Steggles-Larner open a new office in King’s Lynn.
The independent firm, which specialises in lettings and property management, already has offices in Downham Market, Watton, Dereham and Norwich.
Now Steggles-Larner has expanded further into the west of the county, acquiring Anglia Surveyors and Granville Lettings in Lynn.
Existing staff were kept on and the new offices opened in St James Street last week.
The new office will initially be led by company director James Steggles, who has moved to the area from Norwich.
Mr Steggles said he had been pleasantly surprised by Lynn.
“I hadn’t appreciated quite how many wonderful historic buildings there were,” he said.
“It is great to see the new mooring on the waterfront and the building restoration which has taken place.”
Mr Steggles said the new office showed the confidence he and fellow director Chris Larner had in the area.
“There is plenty of demand for rental properties and good opportunities for buy to let investors,” he added.
“It’s therefore a good place for a professional independent letting agent offering personal service, like ourselves. Not everyone wants to use a big corporate company.”
