Young dancers from King’s Lynn did the west proud at a competition held in Norwich.

Members of the Noise & Chance School of Dance took top honours at the event held earlier this month.

The Can You Dance event saw the Lynn school take two trophies and they will be joining other finalists of the competition at London’s world famous Royal Albert Hall.

“We entered a junior hip hop crew called Fruit Machine and a senior street stepping crew, Something Unusual. The stepping crew took the crowd by storm.

“Their music track failed but they continued to perform until the end of their dance and the whole arena stood up and screamed – it was amazing,” said principal Trina Lee.

“I am so proud of my pupils, they are an inspiration. Summer Rose also collected the award for ‘most promising dancer of the day’ and there were 800 dancers but Summer shone through to win the award,” she added.

The school of dance is based at Unit 43, Bergen Way, North Lynn Industrial Estate.
