A combined team from Heacham Manor and Tydd St Giles came out on top of the Ryston Park Ladies Spring Open Am-Am.

Players from Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire were in action with the quartet of Linda Holmes, Tina Gribb, Sue Fleming and Penny Wicks prevailing and receiving their prize from Ryston lady president Ruth Mountain.

Second place went to Middleton Hall’s Mary Kingdon, Jill Buck, Kate Duncan and Brenda Boldero, with Jill Cook, Lynne Williamson, Teresa Haslam-Wise and S Lewis (Bury St Edmunds) in third place.

Heacham also won the prize for drive nearest the line, won by Linda Holmes.

Nearest the pin on the fourth/13th was Liz Mitchell, from The Eagles, with Richmond Park’s Chris Whyatt taking the seventh/16th award.

The twos competition was won by Liz Mitchell, Chris Whyatt and Linda Holmes.
