King’s Lynn Roger Warnes Transport Stars riders enjoyed high-flying preparation to the new season on Friday.

The team held a bonding session at Centre Parcs in Elveden. A session on the aerial assault course saw newly-elected team captain Mads Korneliussen top the time sheet. Sights were set In the afternoon with the riders picking up bows and arrows for a session of field archery. Niels-Kristian Iversen was king of the bullseye.

Star manager Rob Lyon told www.kingslynnstars.co: “I’m really happy with the team. It was important that we got a team of riders that connects, communicates well and can develop a good team spirit.

“I have a good feeling about this year. Hopefully we can bring some silverware back to King’s Lynn this year.”

The Stars open their season with a double header against Peterborough next Friday – at the East of England Showground at 2pm and the Norfolk Arena at 7pm.

The King’s Lynn Stars will again be backed by Roger Warnes Transport and Poultec Training for the 2013 Elite League season.
