Dersingham will take on North Runcton in Sunday’s final of the West Norfolk u16s Indoor League at KES.

But a thrilling match against Stow went to the last ball and saw Dersingham sneak through by virtue of losing fewer wickets after their opponents hit a six off the last ball to tie the scores.

KL Nuts and Bolts man of the match Ben Southgate led the way, hitting four straight sixes in the second over on his way to 20. Arron Herbert also hit three in his 20 as Dersingham posted 99-2 from their 10 overs.

Stow made a solid start with 20 from the first over but their progress was slowed and they still needed 20 more from the final over.

Jamie Cook’s first four balls only conceded seven runs but two more sixes saw Stow pull level, only to lose out by the narrowest of margins.
