Visitors admire the Goldwings at last year's rally.

Honda Goldwing owners will ride to Hunstanton next Saturday to show off their pride and joy for charity.

Enthusiasts from across the country are to display their motorbikes and trikes on The Green before parading their illuminated Hondas through the resort at dusk.

The third annual event, organised by Norfolk Goldwings Club, raised £1,500 for the East Anglian Air Ambulance last year thanks in part to some glorious spring sunshine.

Organiser Paula Penn said members hoped the weather would be similar and even more money could be raised this time.

The light parade is thought to be the fastest-growing Goldwing event in the east of England.

“Last year we had more than 90 bikes and trikes and members from across the country attended, the furthest being from Scotland,” Mrs Penn said.

“People began booking before Christmas, so hopefully we can match that again this year.

“People can listen to music on the bandstand and vote for their favourite bike and trike, then enjoy the lights at night as we parade around the town.”

The Goldwings will be on The Green from noon to 4pm before the parade at 7pm.
