Beautifully decorated lanterns created by young visitors to the Vancouver Quarter added a special twinkle to King’s Lynn’s Christmas lights switch-on.

The free craft workshop was held on Sunday.

“There was a real Christmas feel to the town on and the lantern-making was great fun, very busy and helped add something special to the proceedings,” said David Blackmore, marketing and events assistant at the Vancouver Quarter.

The next free workshop will see children making their own Christmas wreaths on Thursday in the vacant unit opposite Deichmann on Broad Street between 3.30pm and 7pm.
