A Ringstead man has pleaded guilty to an act of outraging public decency.

At around 3.45pm on May 18, Nikola Gutov, 41, from Burnham Road, boarded a Coasthopper bus which was heading in the direction of Wells from the King’s Lynn bus station.

He sat near a woman in her late teens and began to touch himself inappropriately while looking at her before getting off the bus at Thornham.

After the incident, police released a CCTV image and Gutlov was identified and subsequently arrested.

He appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday and was given a 14-day prison sentence suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
