FOOTBALL: King’s Lynn Town Reserves secured a top 10 finish in Division One of the Thurlow Nunn League with a brace of wins over Easter.

Monday saw a comfortable 4-1 victory over AFC Sudbury Reserves with Ryan Lennon, Eoin McQuaid, Charlie Butt and Jack Frohawk finding the net.

A goal in each half from Dylan Edge secured a 2-0 win at Halstead Town on Saturday.

Matt Calvert also struck twice, in Downham Town’s 4-0 win over Needham Market Reserves.

Matt Bussens and James Dougal got the others. Town were left frustrated on Monday in a 1-1 draw at March Town United.

A stop-start match saw the hosts take the lead through a disputed penalty before Simon Bird equalised.
