HOUSING developer Lovell has retained its Investors in People gold standard award.
The top accreditation is awarded for business improvement through people management and involves in-depth assessment.
The company is working on a number of major housing schemes in King’s Lynn and the on-going redevelopment of a Lynn estate.
In partnership with West Norfolk Council, Lovell will build around 600 homes in the area by 2020 and recently began work on 130 homes at Marsh Lane in North Lynn.
The company is working with Freebridge Community Housing on the £30m regeneration of the Hillington Square estate, which is now in the fourth phase of refurbishing the 1960s-built flats.
Lovell’s regional managing director, Simon Medler, praised staff for their hard work. He said: “Our commitment to developing and supporting our staff reflects the crucial role they play in our continuing success and how much we value them.”
Paul Devoy, head of Investors in People, said: “Investors in People gold accreditation is the sign of a great employer, a top-performing place to work and a clear commitment to success.”
He added: “Lovell should be extremely proud of its achievement.”
