Dersingham has been named one of the most desirable villages in the country.

The Sunday Times has unveiled its list of the 20 best villages in Britain, where the West Norfolk Village ranked number nine.

The article said: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been known to frequent the King’s Head pub in Great Bircham, and Anmer Hall is nearby.

“Access to the area has been improved by an upgrade of the A11.”

The village is one of the largest villages in the borough and 1.5 miles from Sandringham House.

Dersingham is nine miles from King’s Lynn, and home to around 5,000 West Norfolk residents.
