It was all smiles and songs when classical singers and popera guys G4 visited King’s Lynn Tesco Extra to promote their new album on Saturday.

The band, who were runners-up of ITV’s the X Factor in 2004, performed each hour for shoppers and fans and posed for shots with locals who made the most of their time with the guys.

The singers were at the store to sing and sign copies of their new pressing, G4 Love Songs, before Valentine’s Day.

It was a far cry from what happened in the early hours of Sunday morning when two of the group were involved in a mugging in Birmingham.

However, in Lynn, it was warm and welcoming as hundreds of shoppers and well-wishers turned out during a chilly weekend shop.

The group were appearing ahead of a return visit to the town later in the year.

They will be appearing at the King’s Lynn Corn Exchange on Thursday, September 21.
