GOLF: King’s Lynn Golf Club’s Luke Johnson held his second invitational golf day with 84 golfers enjoying a Texas scramble.

Twenty-two local companies supported the day with funds raised for the British Heart Foundation and Norwich-based charity It’s On The Ball.

Johnson said: “The support this year was incredible.

“It’s great to have such amazing companies on board to help forward my career and help the charities we’re supporting.

“Thanks go to King’s Lynn Golf Club for hosting the event and setting the course up so well and for being so welcoming

“I would also like to thank the players, supporters, my family and the sponsors of the day, in particular, Priors Butchers for a magnificent hog roast; Alan Taylor from Your Local Paper for compering plus Brian Underwood, Neil Williamson and Jeremy Allen.”
